El pr\u00f3ximo d\u00eda 29 de marzo tendr\u00e1 lugar en la Parroquia de Santiago Ap\u00f3stol de Monda el acto de imposici\u00f3n del Faj\u00edn de General a la Virgen de los Dolores, solemne acto que llevar\u00e1 a cabo el Excmo. Sr. Teniente General del Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire y del Espacio D. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Herrera Llamas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La venerada imagen de la Virgen de los Dolores, magnifica talla del insigne escultor granadino Jos\u00e9 Navas-Parejo, data de 1945 y  fue procesionada por primera vez en 1946. De honda devoci\u00f3n entre los monde\u00f1os, es una de las sagradas im\u00e1genes titulares de la Hermandad Sacramental y Penitencial de Monda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Tte. General Jos\u00e9 Antonio Herrera Llamas, Jefe del Estado Mayor Conjunto de la Defensa, tiene una brillante hoja de servicio desde su ingreso en el Ej\u00e9rcito del Aire en 1980. Entre sus destinos operativos destaca su participaci\u00f3n  en innumerables operaciones en Namibia, Guerra del Golfo, Antigua Yugoslavia, Afganist\u00e1n y Atalanta poseyendo los distintivos de UNPROFOR, IFOR, GOLFO P\u00c9RSICO, ADRI\u00c1TICO, PROVIDE, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONFORT, ISAF Y ATALANTA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre otros reconocimientos, posee la Gran Cruz del M\u00e9rito Aeron\u00e1utico, la Gran Cruz de la Orden de San Hermenegildo, la Encomienda de la Real y Distinguida Orden espa\u00f1ola de Carlos III y la Medalla de la liberaci\u00f3n de Kuwait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En Julio de 2024, cuando asciende a Teniente General, asume el cargo de Jefe del Estado Mayor Conjunto de la defensa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La ceremonia comenzar\u00e1 a las 12\u201900 con la presentaci\u00f3n a cargo del Hermano Mayor de la Hermandad, Francisco Lorente Rubiales.<\/p>\n<\/div>
